After completing the courses at Body Sense Massage School, Students are eligible for Professional Membership in the Australian Massage Membership Companies bodies like, the World Association for Complementary Practitioners (WAFCP), and the Massage Association Membership, as well as BizCover Insurance through the WAFCP, in order to practise professionally.
Every Massage Membership Companies, as well as every professional body, has its own set of regulations and policies! They all have their own members, and they only rule their own members, not the entire industry practitioners.
You can practise as a massage therapist and begin earning money if a professional body provides you with membership and Liability Insurance for Massage Therapists.
You have made a commitment to solely obey the rules of your association! There are certain schools that will inform you that in order to practise professionally, you must be a member of this or that association! It’s completely incorrect! It is merely a technique to play with words in order to generate money!

Can A Massage Association or Professional Body Certify a Short Course As “Nationally Recognized”?
No. That is something that associations and professional organisations cannot do! Only courses that have been authorised or endorsed by the Australian government may use the phrase “Nationally Recognised.” Any short courses in the sector claim to be nationally recognised by some specific association or body!
